    In order to facilitate working carers of the elderly in balancing their work and caring responsibilities, a series of workshops on elderly care, which is sponsored by the Community Chest of Hong Kong, have been organised by HKCSS. The workshop namely u0022Stress Management of Aromatherapyu0022 was successfully held on 21 September 2012, with the guest speaker Ms Chamie Ho, Aromatherapist of Vital Employee Service Consultancy, to share her insights with over 40 working carers.<\/p>\n

    Aroma is an effective therapy in releasing depressed emotion and enhancing positive thinking with energy. Depends on different physical situation and needs, Aromatherapy could improve depression, sleepless problem and muscle pain in applying appropriate amount of essential oil. It is also good at enhancing job effectiveness for working carers to meet the new challenges.<\/p>\n

    The speaker, Ms Chamie Ho shared with the participants techniques of point massage that could be applied daily.<\/p>\n
